Agartala, 8th September 2025 : Three people including a woman were injured in a road accident on Monday morning when a motorcycle collided with a pedestrian near the Bishalgarh power office along the Agartala-Udaipur road.
The incident took place as the motorcycle, traveling from Agartala towards an office destination, approached the Jangalya power office area. According to eyewitnesses, a woman attempted to cross the road in haste, prompting the motorcyclist to lose control and crash. The impact threw all three individuals, the pedestrian and two riders onto the road.
Local residents quickly responded, transporting the injured woman to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital by car. Personnel from the Bishalgarh Fire and Emergency Services later arrived and took the two motorcyclists to the same hospital for treatment. Police are investigating the incident.
