Agartala, 13th September 2025: In anticipation of the upcoming Durga Puja celebrations, a pre-Puja coordination meeting was convened in Teliamura, bringing together members of the municipal council, puja organizers from various levels, and other dignitaries.
The meeting focused on ensuring a smooth and vibrant celebration of the Sharad festival. Officials from both the police and general administration outlined key rules and regulations aimed at maintaining public safety and order throughout the festivities. Puja committees also actively participated, sharing their own plans and strategies to make this year’s celebration a resounding success.
Municipal Chairman Rupak Sarkar extended warm wishes to the community for a joyful Sharad festival. Speaking alongside Teliamura Police Station Officer-in-Charge Jayant Kumar De, Sarkar expressed confidence that, as in previous years, the festival would be celebrated harmoniously with the collective cooperation of all stakeholders.
With preparations now underway, Teliamura gears up for a spirited and culturally rich Durga Puja season.
