Agartala, 13th September 2025: In a significant political move, the Udaipur District Congress today organized a deputation to the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Udaipur, pressing for action on a seven-point demand charter.
The day began with a rally that commenced from the Udaipur District Congress Bhavan and wound its way through the city streets, culminating in a gathering outside the SDPO’s office. The demonstration drew attention from local residents and party supporters alike.
Led by District Congress President Titon Pal, a five-member delegation met with the SDPO to formally present the demands. The officer acknowledged the legitimacy of the issues raised and assured the delegation that appropriate measures would be taken.
The delegation included prominent block leaders: Art Bahadur Malshom (Bagma Block Congress President), Ranjit Debnath (R.K. Pur Block Congress President), and Nitya Gopal Saha (Kakraban Block Congress President).
During the gathering, speeches were delivered by Prahlad Ghosh, Vice President of the Pradesh OBC Department, Titon Pal, and Uttam Pal, General Secretary of the District Congress. The leaders emphasized the urgency of the demands and called for swift administrative response.
