Tripura Gramin Bank signs strategic MoU with Generali Central Insurance for asset protection

Agartala, 12th November 2025 :   In a landmark move aimed at enhancing financial security for its customers, Tripura Gramin Bank has entered into a corporate tie-up with Generali Central Insurance to offer asset insurance solutions. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed today, marks a significant step toward providing comprehensive and tailored insurance coverage to safeguard customer assets.

The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Satyendra Singh, Chairman of Tripura Gramin Bank, along with Anup Kumar Saha, General Manager and Rajeev Nayan, Chief Manager of the Marketing Division. Representing Generali Central Insurance were Abhishek Singh, Chief Bankassurance Officer; Sweta Singh, Vice President (Bankassurance); and Hirak Chatterjee, Assistant Vice President.

Senior officials from Tripura Gramin Bank’s Head Office and Chief Managers from various divisions also attended the event, underscoring the institutional commitment to expanding financial protection services.

The partnership is expected to empower customers with access to robust insurance products designed to meet diverse asset protection needs, reinforcing the bank’s mission to promote financial wellbeing across the region.
