Agartala, 17th November 2025: The CPI(M) state committee today organized a discussion meeting to commemorate the 108th anniversary of the ‘Mahan November Biplab’. The event was held at Agartala Town Hall and attended by senior leaders including CPI(M) Central Committee member Manik Dey, women’s leader Rama Das, and state committee Secretary Jitendra Chaudhury along with other party members and workers.
During the session, CPI(M) state Secretary Chaudhury highlighted the profound influence of the socialist system established after the revolution, noting its direct and indirect impact on the course of human civilization. “The effects of the ‘November Biplab’ remain significant even today,” he said, recalling that Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels had laid the theoretical foundation for the movement, which later took place on Russian soil.
Chaudhury also addressed contemporary criticism, pointing out that while some voices on social media mock the commemoration, the observance of ‘November Biplab Diwas’ carries deep historical and ideological importance. He emphasized that socialism remains essential for the survival and progress of human civilization.
