Agartala, 27th November 2025: Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS) has organized a two-day trainers’ training programme at the Ambassa Panchayat Raj Training Institute, aimed at enhancing livelihood skills and promoting self-reliance across Dhalai district.
The initiative, held earlier this week, sought to strengthen the capacity of trainers from different levels so they can deliver more effective skill development programmes in the future. Organizers emphasized that such training is vital for improving socio-economic standards and opening new avenues of livelihood opportunities in rural areas.
According to officials, 80 trainers from various parts of Dhalai district participated in the workshop. The sessions focused on aligning training methods with contemporary needs, ensuring that skill-building initiatives contribute meaningfully to improving quality of life.
Observers noted that the programme fostered strong collaboration between trainers and trainees, creating a positive environment for knowledge exchange.
On the concluding day, several dignitaries attended the event, including Ashwini Rupini, DIC Dhalai; Apu Deb, Municipal Councilor; Dr. Sujit Ghosh, Executive Director of Voluntary Health Association of Tripura; Lob Dutta, Director of JSS Dhalai; and Mohammad Sabir Ahmed, LDM, among others.
The workshop was widely appreciated as a step forward in empowering communities through skill-based education and livelihood enhancement.
