Agartala, 28th November 2025: The Retailer Meet 2025 was held at the Jolaibari Community Hall under the initiative of Longtharai Guro Masala, bringing together retailers from across the southern district.
The event was inaugurated with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Jolaibari MLA and Minister Shukla Charan Noatia. He was accompanied by Jolaibari Block Panchayat Samiti Chairman Tapas Dutta, Longtharai Guro Masala proprietor Ratan Debnath, the company’s General Manager Subrata Debnath, along with other dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Noatia expressed gratitude to the company’s proprietor for organizing such a program. He noted that raw materials for spice production are currently sourced from outside the state. If these materials were cultivated locally, he said, farmers’ incomes could potentially double. The minister assured that he would discuss the matter with the state’s Agriculture Minister to explore possibilities of local production.
Highlighting the government’s “Local for Vocal” initiative, Noatia emphasized the importance of Longtharai Guro Masala in promoting local industry. He further stated that the company has created employment opportunities for many unemployed youths in the region.
The program concluded with a lucky draw coupon contest, where winners received prizes from the distinguished guests. Speaking to the media, company proprietor Ratan Debnath shared details about the day’s proceedings and the company’s vision for future growth.
