Free health camp held at Ramakrishna Ashram

Agartala, 1st December 2025:   A free health camp was held today at the premises of Betangi Ramakrishna Ashram, organized by the Sri Sri Ramakrishna Seva Samiti, Deochhara Tilthai branch. The camp commenced at 10 a.m. with a ceremonial lamp-lighting.

Distinguished medical professionals attended the event, including the former Chief Medical Officer of North District, a gynecology specialist, and a medical officer. More than 200 people received medical consultations during the camp, and essential medicines were distributed free of cost to patients.

Speaking on the occasion, Sujit Kumar, Assistant Secretary of the Ashram, said that the Ramakrishna Seva Samiti organizes various service-oriented programs every year. This year marked their 29th health camp, which has drawn significant response from the local community.

The initiative left a visible mark of satisfaction on the faces of the residents, reflecting the impact of the Ashram’s continued commitment to public welfare
