Agartala, February 11, 2023: Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma campaigned for 56-Dharmanagar assembly constituency’s BJP candidate Biswa Bandhu Sent in an election rally at the premises of BMS Hall of Rajbari area, Dharmanagar on Friday. He was overwhelmed by the way the crowd invited him.
West Bengal MLA Shantanu Pratunik, Assam Pradesh BJP leader Bishwarup Bhattacharya, Dharmanagar Mandal President Shyamal Nath, DMC Chairperson Pradyut De Sarkar and BJP candidate for 56-Dharmanagar assembly constituency and senior leader Biswa Bandhu Sen were present.
Addressing the rally, Assam Chief Minister said that he does not understand whether there is any need for polls in this center and the way people have enthusiastically invited him, it is certain that the BJP government will be established for the second time in the state. Going around the different provinces of India, it is found that the account of the Communists are empty, similarly, visiting the various states including the North Eastern region, it is found that the account of the Congress is empty. So adding zero plus zero equals zero.
“While holding meetings in different centers of the state, he saw that 24 Congress workers were killed by CPIM in 25 years and now they are close friends of each other for political interests. Internally, Congress and CPIM have been at loggerheads for 25 years, so the Communists have not fallen. There was a close feeling between them now they are married but the government will be formed by BJP”, he added.
Dr Sarma has highlighted the achievements of BJP-led government in last five years in all the sectors. He also castigated TIPRA Motha chairman Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarman for his absurd demand.
Sen is sure to win with a large number of votes, besides, the Chief Minister of Assam, Dr Sarma appealed to establish the BJP government for the second time by winning a large number of votes in the state.
