Agartala, 19th February 2026: The three-day Regional Vedic Conference, inaugurated on 17 February, concluded with its Valedictory Session at the Central Sanskrit University, Ekalavya Campus today.
Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, Governor graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The programme opened with traditional Vedic chanting and the ceremonial lamp-lighting. Prof. Makhlesh Kumar Upadhyay, Director of Central Sanskrit University, Agartala, delivered the welcome and introductory address.
Prof. Awadesh Kr. Chaubey, Former Professor and Head of the School (Darshan), Ekalavya Campus, attended as a distinguished dignitary. Certificates were awarded to 62 participants, and Dr. Ashish Mishra, Organizing Co-coordinator, presented the conference report.
In his address, the Governor commended the university’s efforts to promote and preserve Vedic studies, urging participants to carry forward India’s rich knowledge traditions. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Prakash Ranjan Mishra, followed by the National Anthem.
