Agartala, 24th February 2026: Tripura’s Industries and Commerce Minister, Santana Chakma, highlighted the state’s emerging industrial opportunities at the Destination Tripura Business Summit 2026, held at FICCI, Tansen Marg.
Calling the summit “more than just a business gathering,” Chakma described it as a powerful platform to showcase the vast potential, innovation, and new direction of development in Northeast India.
The event brought together distinguished investors, industrialists, and policymakers from India and abroad. Discussions focused on Tripura’s expanding prospects in infrastructure development, the startup ecosystem, agro-based industries, bamboo production, tourism, IT, and manufacturing.
Minister Chakma emphasized that the summit fostered positive dialogue with investors, strengthened new partnerships, and generated enthusiasm for future opportunities. “Such initiatives will play a crucial role in driving self-reliance, industrial prosperity, and sustainable growth across the Northeast,” she said.
