Agartala, 29th March 2026:  Tripura Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury announced that a new milestone is set to be added to the state’s tourism sector very soon.

He said that an ultra-modern eco-tourism and adventure park is being developed in Sachindranagar, Jirania, modeled after Kolkata’s Nicco Park, to put Tripura’s tourism industry on the global map.

The Minister, along with officials from the construction company, local leaders, and residents of the area, conducted an on-site inspection to review the progress of the park’s construction.

Chowdhury added that the park is expected to be completed and opened to the public within a year. “This will boost both domestic and international tourist arrivals, generate new employment opportunities, and further strengthen the economic foundation of the state,” he said.
