Agartala, 14th April 2026:   Police in Irani station have achieved a significant breakthrough in the ongoing cattle theft investigation. In a fresh operation, officers arrested another suspect and recovered a motorbike believed to be linked to the crime.

Police sources informed that the arrested youth has been identified as Shayan Ali, 22, a resident of Khawrabil under Gournagar RD Block in Kailashahar subdivision, Unakoti district. His father is Faruk Ali. Acting on a tip-off, police raided the house of one of Ali’s relatives in East Yazekhawra, where he was taken into custody. During the raid, officers seized a motorbike with its number plate removed.
