Agartala, 1st June 2026: The Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE), Kunjaban, marked its presence at the Decennial Celebration of the College of Teacher Education (CTE), Kumarghat, on May 30, 2026, in a significant gesture of academic solidarity and institutional collaboration.
The participation of the Principal and faculty members of IASE, Kunjaban, was part of the institution’s ongoing outreach initiative aimed at strengthening academic ties and fostering collaboration among teacher education institutions in Tripura. Since the inception of CTE, Kumarghat, IASE, Kunjaban has consistently extended its support and guidance, ensuring that the institution functions in alignment with the norms and regulations of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi.
The contributions and mentorship provided by IASE during the formative years of CTE, Kumarghat, were fondly acknowledged and appreciated during the celebration. The visiting team from IASE expressed their delight at the warm reception and commendable hospitality extended by the host institution. They also lauded the well-organized programme presented by the students, alumni, faculty members, and staff.
On the occasion, Dr. Ratna Roy, Principal of IASE, Kunjaban, appealed to the local MLA, Bhagaban Das, to extend necessary support for the sustained development of CTE, Kumarghat. She emphasized the need for strengthening infrastructure, ensuring adequate teaching resources, and addressing other essential academic requirements to further enhance the institution’s growth.
The visit reinforced the longstanding relationship between the two institutions and reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing the quality of teacher education in the state. The event concluded on a note of mutual appreciation and renewed dedication towards academic excellence and collaboration.
