CM Showcases State’s Progress in Education, Startups, and Reforms at NITI Aayog Meeting

Agartala, 11th June 2026:  Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Saturday said that he highlighted Tripura’s significant achievements in regulatory reforms, investment promotion, higher education, healthcare, skill development, sports, and startup growth during the 11th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog.

Dr. Saha attended the meeting in New Delhi, which was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The theme of the meeting was “Human Capital for Viksit Bharat.”

Speaking about his participation, the Chief Minister said that Tripura’s efforts in reducing compliance burdens, attracting investments, establishing higher educational institutions, and encouraging entrepreneurship have played a key role in strengthening human resource development and advancing the vision of a Viksit Tripura.

He also emphasized the state’s progress in healthcare, sports, and skill development sectors, which have contributed significantly to improving opportunities for the youth.

Praising the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Dr. Saha stated that India is not only competing with major global economies but is also surpassing them in several areas of development. He noted that with decisive reforms, a clear vision, and collective commitment, the country is steadily moving toward the goal of Viksit Bharat by 2047.

Reaffirming the government’s commitment, he said that all stakeholders will continue working together to build a prosperous, self-reliant, and globally respected India.
