Agartala, 14th June 2026: A tragic incident occurred in Khilam Para under North Taichami ADC Village in Sakam sub-division, where a 12-year-old boy named Real Tripura lost his life after being struck by lightning.
According to local sources, the incident took place around 12 noon on Sunday during a spell of rain. The boy was reportedly struck suddenly by lightning and suffered critical injuries.
Residents immediately rushed him to the Kalachhara Primary Health Centre. However, despite efforts by medical staff, he could not be saved.
The incident has cast a pall of gloom over the entire area, with grief gripping the community. The bereaved family members are said to be devastated by the loss.
