BJP Tripura focuses on strengthening organizational structure: Abhishek Debroy

Date:

Agartala, 22nd June 2026:   Tripura Pradesh BJP President and MLA Abhishek Debroy on Monday emphasized the party’s renewed focus on strengthening its organizational framework through regular meetings and committee formation.

Speaking to reporters here after the meeting, Debroy stated, “We have monthly core committee meetings. These hadn’t been taking place for the past few days, so the focus is on restoring them—ensuring the core committee meets every month. We also need to ensure that Mandal and district meetings are held monthly, and that coordination committees convene at all levels—block, Mandal, and district—to resolve people’s issues and inject organizational momentum.”

He further highlighted that discussions were held on expediting the formation of pending committees, including state and district committees, and ensuring proper implementation of programs directed by the central leadership. These programs, scheduled from June 23 to July 6, will mark Balidan Diwas (Martyrdom Day) and other organizational initiatives.

The meeting highlighted the BJP’s intent to consolidate its organizational machinery at every level, ensuring grassroots coordination and effective execution of central directives.

The meeting was attended by Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, North-East Coordinator Sambit Patra, former Union Minister of State Pratima Bhoumik, Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee, Ministers Ratan Lal Nath and Pranajit Singha Roy, State Secretary Amit Rakshit, General Secretary Bipin Debbarma, along with other senior party leaders.
