Agartala, 28th June 2026: Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma visited the Radhapur ST Girls’ Hostel in the Ramchandra Ghat Assembly constituency after concluding his party engagements on Sunday.
During the visit, he reviewed the hostel’s residential environment, educational standards, and infrastructural facilities, while also interacting with the resident students.The minister expressed satisfaction with the students’ academic performance. Among the four students who appeared for this year’s Higher Secondary examination, two secured First Division while the remaining two passed in Second Division. Similarly, in the Madhyamik examination, all ten students achieved success, with two obtaining First Division and eight passing in Second Division.
Debbarma said the excellent results reflect the dedication of the students, the sincere efforts of the teachers, and the disciplined management of the hostel authorities.
Emphasizing the importance of education, the minister stated that quality education is the strongest foundation for the development of society. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring that students from remote tribal areas receive quality education, safe accommodation, and access to essential facilities.
He extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the successful students, teachers, and everyone associated with the management of the Radhapur ST Girls’ Hostel for their collective achievement.
