Agartala, 10th July 2026: Tripura University Vice Chancellor Professor Debabrata Das held a meeting with the professors of the university on July 9 at the Maharaja Bir Bikram Hall of Tripura University. Registrar Professor Sameer Kumar Seal was also present at the meeting.
Addressing the professors, Vice Chancellor Professor Das emphasized the need to undertake high-quality research of national and international standards. He said that improving the quality of research is essential for Tripura University to regain its position and reputation at the national level.
The Vice Chancellor called upon the faculty members to take greater initiatives in research and academic activities. He assured that the university administration would extend all possible support and cooperation to professors in their research endeavors.
Professor Das also urged the teachers to complete their assigned responsibilities within the stipulated time and contribute towards the overall development and progress of the university.
