Agartala, 4th August 2026 : The Tripura unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has geared up to launch a series of organisational programmes, including district-level training sessions under the ‘Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Training Mega-Campaign’, State BJP spokesperson Subrata Chakraborty announced at a press conference held at the party’s state office on Tuesday.
Chakraborty said the training campaign has already gained momentum, with sessions successfully completed in 55 Mandals across the state. The remaining five Mandals will be covered alongside the upcoming district-level training programmes, which are scheduled to begin on Wednesday.
According to him, the district-level training will be conducted across all ten organisational districts of the state. Training for South, Gomati and Sepahijala South districts will be held from August 5 to 7, followed by Sepahijala North, Sadar Rural and Sadar Urban districts from August 8 to 10. The final phase, covering Unakoti, North, Khowai and Dhalai districts, will take place from August 11 to 13.
The State BJP President is scheduled to attend the inaugural district-level training programme in Gomati district on Wednesday. During the sessions, party leaders and workers will deliberate on twelve key organisational and ideological subjects aimed at strengthening the party structure and enhancing grassroots leadership.
Several senior BJP leaders from the central organisation, including State BJP Prabhari Rajdeep Roy, Organisational General Secretary Rabindra Raju, Guru Prakash Paswan, Rajkumar Sharma and Hemanta Goswami, will visit Tripura to participate in the training programmes.
Chakraborty also informed that participation in each district-level session will be limited to a maximum of 150 delegates to ensure effective interaction and training. He said the initiative is part of the party’s continued efforts to strengthen its organisational base and prepare its cadre for future political and public outreach activities.
