According to local residents, a Bolero pickup vehicle reportedly went out of control and veered off the road, coming to a halt some distance away. The three occupants of the vehicle sustained serious injuries and were found bleeding following the accident.

Local residents immediately came together to rescue the injured and rushed them to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital. However, considering the severity of their injuries, doctors reportedly decided to shift them to the GBP Hospital in Agartala for advanced treatment.

The injured have been identified as Prantos Roy, the driver of the vehicle, Liton Sarkar, and Biswajit Sarkar.

Preliminary reports suggest that the vehicle may have been driven under the influence of alcohol, which could have contributed to the accident. However, the exact circumstances leading to the crash are yet to be established, and the matter is subject to investigation.

The accident has triggered concern among local residents, particularly due to the reported severity of the crash on the rural Ghilatali–Teliamura road.
