Agartala, 6th September 2026 : Tension prevailed in Ward No. 4 of Jalabasa area under Panisagar subdivision following a clash between two neighbours over a land dispute. One person was injured in the incident and is currently undergoing treatment at Dharmanagar District Hospital.
According to local sources, an argument broke out between the two neighbours over a land-related issue. The verbal altercation soon escalated, leading to a physical confrontation between the two sides.
During the clash, one person sustained injuries. Family members and local residents subsequently took the injured person to a hospital for treatment. Following initial medical attention, he was admitted to Dharmanagar District Hospital, sources said.
The incident created tension in the locality, with residents gathering at the spot following the clash.
Meanwhile, a case has reportedly been registered at Panisagar Police Station in connection with the incident. Police have launched an investigation based on the complaint.
