Agartala, 19th September 2026 : The Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL) has issued a official notice regarding scheduled power shutdowns in parts of the state due to essential repair and maintenance work on power lines ahead of Durga Puja 2026.
The power supply will remain suspended in specific electrical subdivisions on September 20 and September 26, from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
On Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, a power outage will affect areas under the Capital Complex Electrical Subdivision’s 11 KV Gorkhabasti Feeder—including PN Complex, Gorkhabasti, Natun Palli area, and up to Shyamal Bhattacharya Flat—as well as areas under the Durjoynagar Electrical Subdivision’s 11 KV Bhuvanban Feeder, including C.R. Road, Co-operative, Durjoynagar, and Barjala.
On Saturday, September 26, 2026, during the same hours of 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, the shutdown will apply to areas under the Capital Complex Electrical Subdivision’s 11 KV Bholagiri Feeder, extending from Narayan Singh Main G.O.S. to Kalyanpur Para, South Barjala, and up to Mayakhala Bypass G.O.S. Additionally, areas under the Durjoynagar Electrical Subdivision’s 11 KV Narsingarh Feeder—including Narayanpur, Narsingarh, Ananga Nagar, P.T.C., Bhagalpur, 70 Colony, North Ramnagar, and UdalTali—will also experience power disruption.
The authorities noted that timing is subject to change depending on necessity/operational requirements. TSECL expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience caused and has requested cooperation from all valued consumers and members of the public.
