Congress call on likeminded parties to save democracy in state: Sudip

Agartala: July 27. Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman today said that the party has called upon all the likeminded parties to come together to work out how to the save the life and properties of the common people and to save the democracy of the state.

Addressing a press conference Sudip said that Congress is committed to oust this fascist BJP government from the state and for which Congress has called upon all the likeminded parties to come together to work out how to the save the life and properties of the common people and to save the democracy of the state.

“This is not an electoral alliance. We are exchanging our views and very shortly we will sit together and work out how to restore democracy in the state and how to save the constitution of India and how to ensure life and property of common people are secure”, he added. Soon after the press conference more than 28 grassroots level leaders of BJP joined Congress.

He further claimed that the BJP in the state is not going to comeback rather they are gradually heading towards from where they have started with 1.57 percent votes in the 2013 assembly election as not only state BJP leader but also Central leadership are aware of the fact that they have lost the support of the common people.
