Agartala, April 12, 2023: Union minister of state for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik on Wednesday visited the house of BJP’s karyakarta Pankaj Debnath in Bishalgarh and inquired about his health condition, who sustained grievous injuries on miscreants’ attack.
During the visit, union minister of state Bhoumik was accompanied by the BJP’s MLA from Bishalgarh assembly constituency Sushanta Deb and other functionaries of the party from Bishalgarh mandal.
Taking this to social media handles, Bhoumik wrote “Pankaj Debnath, a loyal karyakarta of Bharatiya Janata Party in Bishalgarh, was seriously injured in an attack by miscreants on the day of declaration of election results in this year’s assembly elections. In the attack, he lost an eye and suffered severe pain in his face. He was first treated at ILS Hospital and later outside the state and has now recovered somewhat and returned home a few days back.”
