Agartala, May 09, 2023: The students of the Tilla Bazar Higher Secondary school in Kailashahar sub-division staged a road blockade in protest against transfer of teacher
It is learned that Bibhas Datta, the Chemistry subject teacher of Tilla Bazar Higher Secondary School in Kailashahar has been in this school for a long time. Recently, Bibhas Datta was transferred from Tilla Bazar Class XII School to Srirampur Suryamani Memorial Higher Secondary School in Kailashahar.
After knowing this information, anger brewed among the students and they could not accept it.
Protesting against the transfer of teacher, the students blocked the road in front of the school from Tuesday morning and demanded cancellation of the transfer. Students claimed that this teacher is very good and treated students like friends.
Meanwhile, some students got into trouble among themselves over some issue during the siege.
After receiving the news of the incident, a large police force of Irani police station and TSR personnel rushed to the spot. But the administration had to gain momentum to bring the situation under control. Now it is to be seen what action is taken after review by the concerned department.
