Agartala, May 11, 2023: After getting ditched in love affair, a young girl went to her beloved’s house at Sukanta Colony area, Purba Gokulnagar under Bishalgarh police station and sat for a ‘Dharna’.
It is learned that Sushanta Saha of the area, developed a love relationship with a young girl of the same area. Sujit Saha is also alleged to have sexual relations with the girl by tempting her to marry him.
Once when Sujit Saha went abroad for work, he told his lover that he would come from abroad, marry her and give her the status of wife. Then Sujit Saha did not keep any contact with his girlfriend even after coming from abroad some time back.
Several meetings were held regarding this, in which Sujit Saha assured to marry his lover and give her the status of wife. But till Thursday, Sujit Saha did not take any initiative to marry the girl. Finally, on Thursday morning, the girl sat on ‘dharna’ with the local people at Sujit Saha’s house in Purba Gokulnagar.
Narrating the incident in detail, the girl claimed that she will not allow any kind of excuse. Hence, the girl decided that she would sit in dharna at her boyfriend Sujit Saha’s house until Sujit marries her and taken her in his house as his wife.
