TSECL Workers and Employees Sangh express concern over crisis of electricity workers

Agartala, May 13, 2023: TSECL Workers and Employees Sangh, affiliated to Bharatiya Majdoor Sangh on Saturday organized its extended meeting at Durga Chowmuhani market here.

The meeting was attended by the Sangh’s president Anup Acharjee, general secretary Dulal Debnath, vice-president, treasurer, members and others.

In view of the upcoming monsoon season, Debnath on behalf the Sangh expressed concern over the shortage of workers in the Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL). Still the corporation workers are responsibly working to provide better services to the consumers during disaster-like situations.

The general secretary said that the days of calamity are approaching and every worker should be aware during the monsoon season. However, no one should be in a hurry while providing services. All staff should provide services in a nice way.

He said that electricity workers want to work from the side of the government. This government is a government of compassion and is always by your side. But they expressed concern about the shortage of staff in State Electricity Corporation in the present days and they made the workers aware of the recent electrocution accidents.
