Agartala, May 25: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha extended a helping hand to numerous individuals facing various illnesses and financial crises during his ‘Mukhyamantri Samipesu’ program today. People from different parts of the state approached Chief Minister Dr. Saha with their diverse problems, seeking assistance.
In the ‘Mukhyamantri Samipesu’ program held at the Chief Minister’s official residence, Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha patiently listened to the pleas, grievances, and issues raised by the people. Upon being apprised of their problems, the Chief Minister promptly instructed the relevant officials to take necessary measures to resolve them.
One such case was that of Prantosh Rishidas, a daily wage laborer from Ambedkar Palli in Srinagar, Agartala. He arrived with his 8-year-old son Rajdeep, who suffers from thalassemia. Deeply moved by their plight, Chief Minister Dr. Saha immediately ordered the concerned officials to take the required steps for Rajdeep’s treatment.
Lakshmi Barman Dutta, a resident of Bardowali Madhyapara in Agartala, also met with the Chief Minister today. Her husband is battling cancer, and due to financial constraints, she was struggling to afford her son’s education and her husband’s medical expenses. Following the meeting, the Chief Minister promptly directed the concerned officials to address the issue.
Kamna Das, hailing from Jaynagar in Agartala, rushed to the Chief Minister seeking assistance for her husband and only son, both suffering from physical ailments. Upon hearing their predicament, the Chief Minister assured Kamna Das that necessary measures would be taken to resolve her problem.
Furthermore, Karthik Das, a daily wage laborer residing in Jolaibari, approached the Chief Minister today, seeking treatment for his 13-year-old son Ambur Das, who is currently battling heart disease. The Chief Minister attentively listened to his plea and instructed the concerned officials to take immediate action.
Additionally, numerous individuals from various parts of the state voiced their concerns, complaints, and issues to the Chief Minister. The people expressed their satisfaction in being able to share their problems with the Chief Minister and receive swift resolutions in some instances.
Present at the event were Secretary of the Chief Minister Pradip Kumar Chakraborty, Secretary of the Department of Health Dr. Debashish Basu, Secretary of Social Welfare and Social Education Department Tapas Roy, Secretary of Home Department Sharadindu Chowdhury, OSD of Directorate of Health Services Dr. Dibyendu Bikas Das, and other officials.
