Agartala, May 28, 2023: Four members of two families were injured in a bloody clash at Bijoynagar Sukanta Club area of Sabroom late on Saturday night. The injured Pradip Das told reporters that their neighbour Mintu Sutradhar had been abusing them in profanity for several days in front of their house at night.
On Saturday night too, Mintu Sutradhar was standing in front of their house and abusing them. Then Pradip Das protested. As soon as protest began, Mintu Sutradhar’s family attacked Pradip Das. The family members of Pradeep Das resisted. A total of four people were injured on both sides.
Among the injured, the condition of Pradip Das’ father is critical. All the injured were shifted to Sabroom sub-divisional hospital, Pradip Das’ father was referred to GB Hospital in critical condition.
A counter-case has been filed at Sabroom police station on behalf of both the families based on the incident.
