Agartala, June 11, 2023: A BSF jawan went missing after going outside the camp to run from the Gokulnagar sector headquarters on Saturday and a complaint has been lodged with the local police station.
It is reported that, the athletics game is going on at the frontier level of BSF. All the jawans of all the battalions under Gokulnagar sector who are involved in athletics have been brought to the sector headquarters. They continue to practice their respective events daily here under 200 Battalion. For him, every morning he came out of the camp to run.
On Saturday morning, 8 jawans together ran out of the camp and came to their camp through Gautamnagar Nehalchandranagar passing Gokulnagar TSR camp.
Gopi Ram is a resident of Rajasthan, a soldier of 96 Battalion, was a little behind them on the jungle path. All the others returned to the camp but Gopi Ram did not return.
The incident was reported to 96 battalion from the sector headquarters. The battalion reported to his home. No one could give any clue. A missing jawan was reported to the police station during the night.
