Agartala: June 11 – To ensure the visit of BJP national president JP Nadda is a resounding success, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha chaired a preparatory meeting at the state party headquarters on Sunday.

According to party sources, JP Nadda, the national president of the BJP, will arrive in Tripura on the night of June 16 and address a rally at Santirbazar on June 17.

“The purpose of the visit is to invigorate party workers and initiate the BJP’s campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. To ensure the visit of the BJP national president is a grand success, Chief Minister Dr. Saha and BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharya, along with other senior leaders, chaired a meeting today,” said a source.

The source mentioned that the rally will primarily focus on two key topics: celebrating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s nine years in office and preparing for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. During his visit, JP Nadda is expected to hold meetings with senior BJP leaders in the state to discuss strategies and strengthen the party organization for the forthcoming elections.

In today’s meeting, the party leadership also discussed the expected turnout and set a target of around 40,000 attendees.

Chief Minister Saha later posted on Facebook, saying, “All India President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, JP Nadda, is coming to the state to address a massive public meeting on June 17, marking the ninth anniversary of the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modiji.
