Agartala, June 20, 2023: A gang of thieves broke the door of a vehicle parked at IGM Hospital and stole gold ornaments along with cash. The family of the patient is distraught in this incident. Reportedly, a man named Joydeep Saha from Bishalgarh brought his child to IGM Hospital on the evening of Monday last, parked his car and took the child to the hospital.

The doctor sees the child’s physical condition and says to admit him as usual. Later, when the child’s father Saha, was fetching things from the car, he noticed that a group of thieves had broken the glass of the vehicle’s door and took the child’s golden chain along with Rs 30,000 in cash. Security guards at the IGM Hospital and West Agartala police station were immediately informed.

The police as usual rushed to the hospital and started investigation based on the complaint. But according to the opinion of the people around the hospital, the drug dealers are driving the main gate of the hospital. It is believed that the incident was committed by them. But for a long time drug dealers have been operating day and night in the hospital premises. No strict action has been taken till date even after the police of West police station is on the tip of the nose. As a result, such incidents are frequent on a daily basis.
