Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Mazdoor Sangh gives deputation on various demands

Agartala, June 21, 2023: The Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Mazdoor Sangh, Tripura Pradesh has submitted a memorandum to the Director of Social Welfare and Social Education department at Abhaynagar, on various demands, including payment of gratuity to Anganwadi workers and helpers and enforcement of the working period of Anganwadi workers and helpers from 60 to 65 years.

The Bharatiya Janata Mazdoor Sangh-affiliated organization gave the deputation on Wednesday. Their seven-point of charter of demands include making the age limit of the Anganwadi workers 65 years, paying gratuity as per the court order, increasing the pension from Rs 750, etc.

It was also demanded that all 56 projects in the state should be implemented in the same manner. Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Mazdoor Sangh President Lipika Chakraborty and others were present.
