Agartala: July 21. Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder, today inspected the drainage system in Lal Bahadur Club. The locals have said that if there is little rain, the drains in the area are filled with water and rising this concern they have flagged this issue before the AMC Mayor.
Therefore, Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumdar visited the area adjacent to Lal Bahadur Club of Ward No. 22.On Friday, the mayor and others visited the poor drainage system in the area. Later he said that he witnessed various problems in Ward No. 22.
Initiatives will be taken to resolve this issue quickly. Majumder said that a box culvert will be constructed in the area adjacent to Lal Bahadur Club. Apart from the mayor, BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharya, Councilor Ratna Dutta and prominent people of the area were also present in the visit.
