Agartala, September 05, 2023: The polling for the Boxanagar Assembly Constituency commenced promptly at 7:00 am today, with citizens eagerly lining up at their designated booths. However, a minor setback occurred as some booths experienced a delayed start of approximately 30 minutes due to malfunctioning Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

In a display of civic duty and enthusiasm, BJP’s nominated candidate, TafajjalHossain, cast his vote at 7:30 am in Booth No. 14 of the Boxanagar Assembly Constituency, standing patiently alongside fellow voters.

Expressing his confidence in the electoral process, Tafajjal Hossain remarked, “People are approaching the polls with a festive spirit, eager to exercise their democratic rights.”

Despite a peaceful atmosphere at the polling stations, recent allegations by CPM leader Abu Zafar have cast a shadow of controversy. Hossain criticized the opposition, stating, “CPM’s politics revolve around falsehoods. They persistently attempt to disrupt the peaceful polls by spreading malicious propaganda against BJP candidate Tofajjal Hossain and the BJP party.”

Tafajjal Hossain vehemently denied the allegations, categorizing them as “completely false and disinformation.” He expressed his belief that the people of Boxanagar would vote in favor of the BJP for the comprehensive development of the area.

As the polling continues in the Boxanagar Assembly Constituency, citizens remain engaged in the democratic process, eager to determine the future leadership of their region.
