The EO Gurgaon hosts the “Relive the 2011 World Cup Glory”

Date:

The Entrepreneurs Organization (Gurgaon Chapter) conducted a cricket meets entrepreneurship-themed event titled “Relive the 2011 World Cup Glory”.

The event featured anecdotal retellings of the events of the 2011 ICC Men’s World Cup from the winning team’s men, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, and Harbhajan Singh.

The event opened with Aditya Tulsan, Learning CoChair of EO Gurgaon, who shared personal anecdotes of his match day superstitions and rituals.

Mr. Vipul Jain, President of EO Gurgaon, discussed the agenda of the event, which went beyond entrepreneurs, growth, and economy, and leaned into the passionate energy of the 2023 ICC Men’s World Cup.

Sehwag credited his bat for scoring four fours against Pakistan, while Yuvraaj Singh’s narrative traversed profound emotions from the euphoric pinnacle of World Cup triumph to the gruelling depths of his diagnosis.

Harbhajan Singh reminisced about the intensity of India-Pakistan matches, highlighting the Mohali match where he took two crucial wickets. He shared his experiences with pre-match superstitions and the resilience required to bounce back after defeats.

The event was aligned with the annual theme of “Learn. Act. Inspire,” emphasizing the mental dexterity that goes behind an entrepreneur’s journey.

The event concluded by felicitating Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, and Yuvraj Singh with paintings done by Autistic Children and a donation made in their names.
