Agartala, December 19: A segment of the 10,323 terminated teachers from Tripura is set to approach the Supreme Court for justice.
In a press conference held at Agartala Press Club on Tuesday, spokespersons for the dismissed teachers, along with their legal representative, Amrit Lal Saha, provided detailed information about the impending legal proceedings.
The group revealed that a challenge has been presented to the Tripura High Court’s decision, and a Special Leave Petition (SLP) has been filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of Pranab Deb. A mass meeting is planned to address all dismissed teachers and their concerns regarding this matter.
Amrit Lal Saha, the legal counsel for the terminated educators, shed light on the legal strategies and steps taken to contest the verdict in the higher court.
