Tripura girl wins Oxford University certificate for story writing

Agartala, February 24: Oindrila Chakraborty, a 7th standard student of a British school in Abu Dhabi, has received a certificate from Oxford University for her story writing skills.

She participated in the Oxford University Press Story Writing Competition 2024, organized by Mirets Literature Foundation, and impressed the judges with her creativity and imagination. One of the judges was Ms. Cathy Hoopman, a noted writer and author.

Oindrila, who hails from Tripura, India, has a passion for writing and reading. She has also won the third prize in the Young Writers Competition held in India earlier this year.

Her parents, Dr. Mani Shankar Chakraborty and Dr Ashawari Chakraborty, are proud of her achievements and thanked God for blessing her with talent and opportunities. Oindrila hopes to continue writing and inspiring others with her stories.
