Agartala Aug 26: Today is the birthday of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, who was born on August 26, 1910 in Kosovo.Like every year, Nirmala Sishu Bhavan in Capital City’s Buddha Mandir area celebrated this date with a special moment of prayer.
The Sisters along with children and other members of the Sishu Griha prayed for peace in the world and in the hearts of people while singing hymns of Saint Teresa.Talking about the importance of the day, Sister of Nirmala Sishu Bhavan said, “The day is auspicious for us and we believe to spread the message of love, peace and kindness in mankind as directed by Mother Teresa”.
Candles were lit and the portrait of Mother Teresa was garlanded to offer prayers to the great lady who dedicated her entire life for the welfare of mankind.
