Agartala, 29th March 2024 :    Biplab Kumar Deb, the BJP candidate for the West Tripura parliamentary constituency, launched scathing allegations against the Congress and CPIM, blaming them for widespread violence and exploitation in the state.

In a fervent election rally held in Simna, attended by a multitude of supporters and party leaders, Deb highlighted the plight of the people, emphasizing the loss of lives, including that of a Minister MLA, due to political turmoil allegedly instigated by the Congress and CPIM. He lamented the empty laps of mothers and the exploitation of the poor and tribal communities in Tripura.

Deb asserted that the previous governments, particularly those led by the communists, failed to provide basic necessities such as water and adequate food to the citizens. He contrasted the current BJP-led administration’s efforts, claiming successful distribution of water and rice to households every month.

Furthermore, Deb accused the Congress and CPIM of instigating past riots and indirectly contributing to the birth of militant outfits like NLFT and ATTF. He rallied for support, asserting that the communists would now vote for the BJP symbol, the lotus, in the upcoming elections.

The rally, marked by a massive bike procession and a subsequent public meeting, saw the participation of Simna MLA and State Minister Vrishketu Debvarma along with other prominent leaders. Deb concluded his address by promising to continue working tirelessly for the welfare and development of Tripura, urging voters to support the BJP in the upcoming elections.
