Agartala, 10th June 2024: M.B.B. College Alumni Association has celebrated Rabindra-Nazrul Janma- Jayanti in a befitting manner on on Sunday at the Alumni office at M.B.B. College Campus.
The program formally started by offering flowers to the portrait of Kabiguru Rabindra Nath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam by the Alumni President N. C. Sharma, Secretary Dr. Goutam Saha, Vice Presidents, Assistant Secretaries. Treasurer and distinguishes members of the Association.
The inaugural song performed by famous vocal Artiest of Tripura cum Alumni member Geetasri Bhowmik. Later on recitation performed respectively by famous Drama & Theater director of Tripura cum Alumni members Sanjoy Kar, Pinak Pani Deb and Ruma Roy Chowdhury.
Afterward famous vocal Artiest of Tripura cum Alumni member Sudipta Shekhar Mishra performed his charming Rabindra & Nazrul Sangeet which fascinated the audience.
Dr. Bholanath Saha gave a brief talk on the rare facts & glimpse of Rabindra Nath, Nazrul and Tripura.
The program coordinated by Rahul Banik. The program ended with the vote of thanks by the Secretary, Dr. Goutam Saha.
