Dukli RD Block Chairman Bhulan Saha was present at the event and emphasized the efforts to support flood victims. “Initiatives have been taken to provide financial support to the flood victims. Those who were completely affected by this flood were given money on this day. Besides those who have not yet received support, initiatives have been taken to support them in the coming days,” he stated.
Saha highlighted the importance of enabling affected families to restart animal rearing and become financially self-sufficient. “So that they can start rearing animals again and become financially self-sufficient,” he added.
In addition to the financial assistance, an awareness camp was conducted to address the health issues faced by animals post-flood. “Because animals are suffering from various diseases after the flood. Many animals are already infected with various diseases. So awareness camps have been organized to make people aware about it,” Saha explained.
The program aimed to provide comprehensive support to the flood-affected families and ensure their ability to recover and thrive.
