Agartala, 5th November 2024:  The Tripura State Science and Technology Council organized the Science Drama Competition 2024, which took place at Sukanta Academy here on Tuesday. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students across the state, with eight groups set to perform their dramas throughout the day.

The State Coordinator of the Science Drama Competition, Shubranil Roy highlighted the impressive turnout and engagement from students representing every district of Tripura. He mentioned, “We are thrilled to see such active participation from students all over the state. It truly showcases their dedication and passion for science and the performing arts.”

The eight groups, each representing a different district, presented their plays in front of an eager audience. The performances aimed to combine scientific concepts with creative storytelling, encouraging students to explore and express their understanding of science in an engaging manner.

Roy further elaborated on the competition’s next steps, stating, “A team selected from the best eight teams from each district will move on to participate in a larger competition, which is jointly organized by the North Eastern states. This will provide them with an opportunity to showcase their talents on a bigger stage and interact with peers from other regions.”

The event not only served as a platform for students to display their theatrical skills but also emphasized the importance of science education and its application in everyday life. The judges, comprising educators and experts in both science and drama, provided valuable feedback to the participants, helping them refine their performances and understanding.

Overall, the Science Drama Competition 2024 at Sukanta Academy was a resounding success, fostering a sense of community and collaboration among young learners and igniting their passion for science and the arts.
