Agartala, 23rd November 2024: Tripura’s alternative rock sensation Agragami is poised to make history as the first band from the state to release a music video under the esteemed Zee Music Company banner. Their much-awaited track, “Jodi Chere Jash Amay,” will debut nationwide on November 22 showcasing their creative prowess and putting Tripura’s music scene on the map.
The music video stars Karnajit Bhattacharjee and Debalina Chakraborty in lead roles with cinematography led by Anupam Goswami of Origin Films, as confirmed by Sayan Dey of Totell in a press release. The production supported by Pillow Records promises a visually stunning and musically enriching experience.
Formed on February 26, 2023, Agragami has quickly garnered attention for its innovative sound and electrifying performances. Featuring a powerhouse female vocalist and a lineup of talented musicians, the band delivers a fresh blend of influences that stands out in India’s dynamic music landscape.
In just under two years, Agragami has composed over seven original tracks and is now working on their debut album, slated for release on February 26, 2025, to coincide with their second anniversary.
Their journey reflects a relentless drive to innovate and elevate Tripura’s music onto a national stage. With this milestone collaboration with Zee Music, Agragami is not just breaking barriers but also setting new benchmarks for the state’s burgeoning music scene.
