Agartala, 23rd November 2024: the Tripura Graduate Fisheries Officers’ Association hosted a blood donation camp on Saturday at the Fish Health Investigation Hall, College Tilla here highlighting the critical role of blood donation in saving lives and strengthening healthcare.
The event was inaugurated by Paschim Tripura Zilla Parishad’s Sabhadipati Balai Goswami, who urged citizens to embrace the cause of blood donation. “Blood donation is a great donation,” he stated passionately, encouraging individuals to step forward for this noble initiative that directly saves lives.
The camp also witnessed the participation of Deepa D. Nair, Secretary of the Department of Fisheries, Government of Tripura, who highlighted the social responsibility of individuals.
“Every person has a duty towards the society they live in. By donating blood, participants not only showcase their generosity but also contribute to a steady supply of blood for critical medical needs,” she said.
