Agartala, 4th December 2024: The Block Congress has submitted a memorandum to Teliamura SDM Parimal Majumdar, outlining 15 demands to address the pressing issues faced by the people of Teliamura. The deputation was presented on Wednesday by a delegation that included former Congress MLA Ashok Kumar Baidya, Teliamura Block Youth Congress President Atanu Pal, District Mahila Congress President Sabita Jamatia, District Congress General Secretary Rajdhan Sarkar, and other party members.
The key demands highlighted in the deputation include an investigation into why 90 percent of consumers did not receive flour at ration shops in September and October this year, measures to curb the rising prices of daily necessities, and the provision of adequate drinking water in the Teliamura Municipal Council area.
The delegation emphasized the urgency of these issues and called for immediate action from the administration to alleviate the hardships faced by the residents of Teliamura. The Block Congress remains committed to advocating for the welfare of the community and ensuring that their concerns are addressed promptly.
