Agartala, 4th December 2024: Animal Resources Development minister Sudhangshu Das embarked on a two-day visit to North Tripura district on Wednesday accompanied by the Secretary of the department and other officials. The visit commenced with a review meeting held at the conference hall of the North Tripura District Magistrate.
In the meeting Minister Das was accompanied by Secretary of the department, directors of the three departments under Minister Das, Sabhadipati of the Uttar Tripura Zilla Parishad Aparna Nath and various other officials. The primary focus was to assess the progress of projects allocated by the state and central governments for the district.
Minister Das emphasized the significance of the meeting, stating, “The main purpose of this meeting is to verify the progress made in the projects allocated for this district by the state and central governments. We aim to understand how much the general public has benefited from these projects during the financial year 2024-25. Additionally, we will discuss and decide on the steps needed to address any deficiencies in the implementation of these projects.”
He further elaborated on the agenda of his visit, saying, “There is a two-day program in North Tripura district. Today, we are conducting the review meeting, and tomorrow, the program will conclude with a field visit to assess the on-ground implementation of the projects.”
The review meeting underscored the government’s commitment to ensuring the successful execution of development projects and addressing any gaps. Minister Das’ visit aims to foster transparency and accountability in the progress of the district’s development initiatives.
