Agartala, 20th January 2025:   Allegations have surfaced that residents of the Chailengta Gram Panchayat area in Longtharai subdivision are frequently deprived of essential services due to the absenteeism of Panchayat Secretary Mithun Debnath.

Local residents claim that the Panchayat Secretary is often unavailable when they visit for various tasks. “It’s extremely frustrating. He is rarely available when we need assistance,” said a resident.

Sources indicate that this situation has persisted for months, causing significant inconvenience to the community. The residents are increasingly agitated by the ongoing negligence and are demanding prompt action to address the issue. “We need a solution. This neglect cannot continue,” another resident stated.
