Three-way collision injures two at Bishalgarh

Agartala, 12th February 2025 :    A three-way collision in front of the main gate of Bishalgarh Class XII School this afternoon left two individuals injured. The injured were promptly rescued and taken to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital, with one woman passenger later being referred to Tripura Medical College and Dr BR Ambedkar Teaching Hospital for further treatment.

The incident involved Shahidul Islam, the driver of a Pulsar bike with registration number TR07E-6212, who was en route to his home in Dhaka. A Commander car bearing registration number TR01A3482 coming from Bishramganj lost control striking the bike before colliding with an auto-rickshaw and a pedestrian named Morani Saha. Saha attempted to shield the woman from further harm.

The Bishalgarh Police Station responded quickly, arresting the driver along with the command vehicle. The accident victims were also brought to the police station for further investigation. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
